Gentle Breeze

It was a good ride overall, resistance training when heading north, keeping straight lines when heading east or west, and hauling butt heading south. I went out on the "Shell Rock Loop" which is ~51 miles from my front door and finished in under three hours which makes me happy for early March and the gentle breeze. Speeds were kept fairly low, 15-16mph, while heading north and were in the high 20's with a max of 35mph on the way south. Even made 35mph when I put a little bit of effort into it. It was peaceful with almost no traffic except for the few farmers that were going back and forth to the coop. You would think that they were getting ready for spring too. Nothing too exciting, just a good ride.
Today's ride was brought to you by Elete in my Europa water bottles and Apple-Cinnamon flavored Hammer Gel. Super Saul says it tastes like apple pie. I say he is right on with that one!! Mmmmm!! After arriving at home it was time for some Recover-Ease and then some pastaan stretching.
Now it is time to get ready for work,
-Peace.
