Endurance podcasting

ATTENTION ALL ENDURANCE ATHLETES. PAY ATTENTION TODAY.

There is a website that was recently brought to my attention by Mike Hayes at Alan Taylor Communications concerning endurance racing podcasts. I spent some time checking out the website, listened to the first podcast, and read through the press release to get an understanding of what this podcast series is all about.

These podcasts are hosted by Dave Scott who is a six-time winner of the Ironman World Championship. The first four podcasts are being done with Dave's guest Simon Lessing who is a five-time International Triathlon Union World Champion. Definately a couple of athletes that know the business when it comes to proper nutrition for the long haul, these guys have some very impressive resumes.

This first podcast is a great one!! It covers the aspect of "fueling" your body during training and racing. Dave and Simon do a fabulous job of describing not only what they are doing but most importantly WHY they are doing it. They discuss how important it is for endurance athletes to keep track of what they consume, when they consume it, and how to use this information for you to perform better. These two definately know what they are talking about. Instead of me telling you all about what they discuss, you should go and listen to it. You will not be disappointed.
