Hey whitey!!

Busy , busy weekend. Feels like I was always on the go from the time I left POS at 3pm on Friday. Friday night was the POS holiday party at the Elks Club in Waterloo. Not a bad time. Mingled with the big shots for a while and then had some delicious parmesean chicken. Yuuummmmmy!! I also received a free massage as a door prize. That should come in pretty handy sometime this summer.

Saturday was spent driving to Coralville and Williamsburg to do some shopping at the mall and the outlet stores. Found lots more clothes for Rhea and spent some good money at Barnes & Noble on some reading material. I love Barnes& Noble. It started snowing by the time we were on our way home which meant that there would be some vehicles in the ditches. It's always the same people too it seems. Newer four-wheeled drive trucks sideways or backwards into the ditch. Go figure. Saturday night was yet another holiday party, this time for Amy's credit union department. Lots of good people which makes for some great conversation. I had a grilled chicken salad that was also great. Yea, I was on a bit of a chicken fix. :)

Sunday was finally time for a little relaxing after we took care of a few things. Met my parents and brother down at Toad's for lunch. I went with ethe grilled ham & cheese sandwich this time. Toad's has good food and it seems to be an easy place to go eat at on Sunday for lunch. After that it was the trip to hell....Sprawl-Mart. Little snow on the ground so not only can people not drive, but people can't figure out how to park either. Amazing how quickly we forget these things isn't it. Made the trip pretty fast because I hate dealing with all of the idiots and their unsupervised heathens running around like they own the place. Went home and watched a movie after that. I then spent the remainder of the day/evening vegging out on the couch in front of the TV. I did spend some time surfing the classifieds on the web too. You just never know what you might find out there.

Woke up this morning and shoveled the 3" of powder on the driveway. Good workout at 5am. I can't justify owning a snowblower fot the few times that I would use it. It only takes about 50-60 minutes to shovel it anyway.

That's it for the catch up. Working at the shop today from 4-6pm. I suppose everyone will want to come in late and buy XC skis tonight too. We are open at 9am so be sure to pace yourself.
