Tour of Qatar

So the Tour of Qatar started yesterday with a 6km Team Time Trial. Such a short TTT is there simply to put someone in the leader's jersey and get riders placed through out the field. Every rider in the field finished in less than two minutes behind the leader, actually all but six were sub-one minute back. Losing time on day one, not so good.

The Liquigas Cannondale team finished seven seconds back to receive third place in the stage. It's a good start to the season and a great place to keep the riders towards the front early on. Have I mentioned that their bikes are just too cool? Well, they are.

Internatioanl Motorcycle Show is in Minneapolis this weekend. That's where you will find me checking out all that is new for 2007. I will probably be found drooling somewhere near the Ducati area and pocketbikes. I need to get Rhea off on the right foot and I figure that I should find a pocket bike that I can ride for a while before giving it to her. Safety first and all. :)
